In home assisted living in Oklahoma. We offer home care services in Oklahoma.
THREE'S COMPANY SITTER SERVICE, INC. was conceived in the year 2000 by Bonnie Carter. The idea came into being when Bonnie began caring for the elderly mother of her friend Anne.
Anne had been the primary caregiver for two years and was determined not to place her mom in a nursing home. Her mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 1997, was a breast cancer survivor and also a victim of COPD. She was placed with hospice in 2000 after the doctors "gave up" on her. She continued to decline, even with hospice's three times a week home health visits, to the point where she was hallucinating and incontinent.
At that point, Bonnie came on-board and began to work her miracle of individualized, one-on-one, compassionate eldercare. Anne's mother gained weight, became lucid and was out of a diaper within a week. Bonnie's love for the elderly and her excellent senior care assistance have kept Anne's mom in familiar and comfortable surroundings, while allowing Anne to "get her life back."
Three's Company Sitter Service, Inc. continues to provide what Anne considers "the best private in-home elder assistance service that money can buy!"
Bonnie Carter was raised and continues to live in southeast Oklahoma. Prior to establishing Three's Company Sitter Service, Inc. she had worked with seniors for eight years in Eldercare Services. She has also worked with In-home Health Care for Therapeutic Children, Department of Human Services and as a Home Health Sitter. Although all of these were rewarding, she prefers working with the elderly and feels this is her "calling".
After meeting Anne, Bonnie was encouraged by her friend to start up her own service in order to reach and help more Seniors in need of assistance.
Since that time, the agency's coverage area has grown to encompass North Texas, Central/Southeast Oklahoma and Western Arkansas.
With a sentiment echoed by all at Three's Company Sitter Service,Inc., Bonnie warmly declares, "I truly believe working with the elderly is my calling! They have worked so hard all of their lives and deserve to be pampered and spoiled."
"Their smile makes my day!"
